Soccer in Spain is much more than just a game. It's almost a religion for some of the fans. Spain has a great history of soccer: there are soccer clubs that are over hundred years old. Two of these clubs are F.C.Barcelona and Real Madrid. There is a great rivalry within the Spanish League and also in the Champions League (the most important competition in Europe).
Names of players like Messi, Neymar, Iniesta, Cristiano Ronaldo, Bale and Fernando Torres constantly come up in sports press around the world.
The games are always so popular and Spaniards meet in bars, houses or in the stadium to watch a match.
In the last eight years, the Spanish national team has won two Eurocups and one WorldCup in 2010.
